After missing a year because of the Covid pandemic and lockdowns, it was wonderful to have a lovely sunny afternoon for the Dorchester Poverty Action Cream Tea event, which was held on Sunday 5 September at Puddletown. It was very well attended and over £800 was raised for DPA funds, which support local people in need. The cream teas, raffle, various stalls and a new addition this year, glasses of Prosecco, were very popular and it was a lovely social occasion for everyone after being unable to meet up for so long. We should like to say a very big thank you to Jeremy and Mandy for letting us hold the Cream Tea in their lovely garden again and to everyone who came along for their support, donations and help with the event. Thank you very much.
